Frequently asked questions

Does the photo booth get delivered to my address in Munich, or do I have to collect it?

It's delivered straight to your address anywhere in Munich by courier, and you send it back the same way — there's no pickup point and nothing to collect in person.

Can we use the photo booth at Oktoberfest or in a beer tent?

The booth normally needs an enclosed, weather-protected indoor room. An open tent or Biergarten does not qualify simply because it is covered. Please ask BoxShot for express approval before planning any outdoor use.

Do we need a technician to set it up?

No. Allow about five to ten minutes for self-service setup; with Print, connect the printer as well. A guide is included.

Is support available in English?

Yes, our WhatsApp and email support team is English-speaking, which is why the booth is popular with Munich's international residents and couples marrying here from abroad.

How much does it cost and is there a deposit?

There's no deposit at all — the Digital package is €139 and the Print package with 108 instant prints is €199, both fixed, all-inclusive prices.

How delivery and setup works in Munich

We ship the booth early; it usually arrives about two days before the event, with tracking provided after dispatch. Set it up in an enclosed, weather-protected indoor room with a power socket, following the included guide. Allow about five to ten minutes, including the printer connection for Print. After the event, repack it in the original packaging and return it with the included label. Guests can download photos during the event through the booth’s local Wi-Fi using a QR code; the protected online gallery follows after the booth is returned.

Made for Munich's international crowd

The self-service booth lets guests take photos and, with Print, collect instant prints without a photographer on site. For an Oktoberfest party or another event, plan an enclosed indoor room for the booth even if guests are celebrating outdoors. An open beer tent or Biergarten is not a regular setup location; outdoor use requires BoxShot's express approval in advance. There is no deposit and no local setup crew to coordinate.

International weddings around Munich and Lake Starnberg

Munich and the villages around the Starnberger See are a well-loved destination for couples marrying away from home, and a shipped photo booth solves a real problem for them: there's no need to find and vet a local vendor in a language you don't speak. You book online, tell us the delivery address — a lakeside hotel, a Bavarian Schloss, a barn near Starnberg — and the booth simply turns up. Guests from different countries can use it without any briefing, and guests can download their photos locally during the event; the online gallery is provided after the booth is returned.

Packages and pricing

Two packages cover most events. The Digital package gives you unlimited photos and a shareable online gallery for €139. The Print package adds an instant printer with 108 prints included for €199. Both include free shipping in both directions and require no deposit, so the price you see is the price you pay.
